JOB- Supply Chain Manager LOCATION- KentTERM- Permanent candidates onlySALARY- GBP60,000 - GBP70,000 and other great benefitsWe are looking for Supply Chain Manager on a permanent basis in the Kent area to with strong knowledge of electronic parts preferably in highly regulated industries.The Supply Chain Manager will ideally have the following attributes: Degree educated in Engineering, Business or Science preferredIdeally CIPS qualified or equivalentExcellent knowledge ERP/MRP systemsExtensive procurement or supply chain experience with leadership responsibilityNatural communicator with ability to influenceExperience with pull system processes such as Kanban and vendor management with suppliersLead contract negotiations with suppliersTechnical experience preferable The Supply Chain Manager role will involve: Develop and implement new processesLiaise with design engineering to develop supplier strategiesWork with programme team in agreeing Make vs Buy on new programmesWorking with Sales team in compiling new bids to customers to ensure correct tender process with suppliersDefine and deliver improvement plans on QCD performanceProvide relevant Procurement data for annual budget and strategy process.Minimise risk management through negotiation of long-term agreements to key suppliers If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible, along with your availability and your salary expectation.
