Supply Chain Manager - West Sussex - up to £65,000 + Benefits - Ref 1540I am currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Manager to work for an engineering organisation based in West Sussex. Salary up to £65,000 + Benefits.The organisation are supplying their products to clients worldwide within their specialist market and have been established for over 20 years.Due to internal organisational changes within the business, they have the need to appoint a Supply Chain Manager on a permanent basis.In this role as a Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing my clients supply chain whilst overseeing a team of 2 buyers. You will be a pinnacle point of the Operations team and report directly to Operations Director but will have regular contact across various departments including Production, Sales, Projects & Design. You will be overseeing a spend of £5 Million per year which predominantly will be focused on Metals for the production team but also consumables across the wider business. The focus of this role will be to improve the performance of their suppliers to ensure quality is of the highest standard, deliveries are made on time & in full. Their work is project related and as a result you will be required to know what stock levels are associated to each project to ensure no delay in production. As part of the position you will be negotiating with existing supplies not only on price but also expediting on SLA's.Requirements:A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Supply Chain ManagerWorked within a
Manufacturing/Production/Engineering
