Supply Chain DirectorJoin a fast-growing player in the telecoms industry!Our client, founded in 2020 with a turnover of over 200M and manufacturing 10,000+ products, is looking for a Supply Chain Director to lead logistics and purchasing. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team based in Swindon. The work environment includes a modern office setting, regular social events, growth opportunities within the company and a relaxed atmosphere.Responsibilities:Team management and development to shape and drive a high-performing team of 7 across Logistics and Purchasing.Supplier management and evaluation, monitoring pricing and cost effectivenessFinding and selecting new suppliers and negotiating terms and pricingDeveloping planning/purchasing strategies, to ensure cost savings and supplier performance targets are metOverseeing logistics, selecting shipping agents/companies and negotiating pricingMonitoring quality and performance of service within the department, with the implementation of KPIsMonitoring pricing and cost effectivenessRequirements:Experience of working in the UK Telecom IndustryExcellent written and verbal communication, with a proven ability to build strong working relationships at all levels.Strong legal knowledge for purposes of contract negotiation, rules on import/export of products.Possess strong commercial awareness, business acumen and drive to negotiate the best possible opportunities.Strong leadership and inter personal skills.Flexible approach to working to meet changing business prioritiesProficient IT skills, including good knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel.If you are interested in this role please apply with your updated CV.
