What We're Looking For...
FUNKIN Cocktails are looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator to report to the Operations Manager and assist in all aspects of Supply Chain, with a key focus on working with our key international markets (primarily EU and US), driving efficiencies through the operation.
The ideal candidate will be a team player with experience in managing complex processes within a Supply Chain environment. Previous experience of exporting consumer goods outside of the UK post-Brexit is essential. Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills are crucial to succeed in this role.
Your Responsibilities Will Include...
Build and manage a network of brokers/hauliers to ensure timely deliveries to customers across the globe
Lead all export related communication between our hauliers & our external 3rd party warehouse
Work closely with our International Team to process and arrange delivery of orders to over 25 countries around the world, including alcoholic products under duty suspension
Full responsibility for the Export order process, including creating and submitting the correct customs documentation for all Export shipments
Full responsibility for the US order process, including management of local inventory levels and the shipment of replenishment stock for the UK
Input into the annual budget process for Export and US logistics and then work with the Supply Chain Finance analyst to monitor and report on performance throughout the year
Assisting & supporting the rest of the Operations team where required
Requirements
What you'll bring...
Experience of importing & exporting FMCG products both inside & outside of the EU is essential
Strong understanding of how a 3PL based distribution network runs
An understanding of how to manage Alcohol Duty domestically & for Export purposes would be advantageous, but not essential as training will be given
Process driven
Confident communicator both verbal and in writing
A team player with a keen attention to detail
Strong prioritisation and time management skills
Proactive, dynamic and solutions focused
IT literate - able to produce clear and accurate reports when required to do so
