Supply Chain Analyst
Nr. Meriden, Warwickshire
£25,000 - £35,000 (Dependant on experience) Office Based ONLY – Monday to Friday
An established, leading supplier of branded and own label products to large organisations in the retail, office products and education sectors are looking for Supply Chain & Senior Supply Chains Analysts to join their growing team.
The ideal candidates will have experience in working in international supply chain management and/or within a large retailer in a supply chain role. The role reports into the Supply Chain Manager.
The successful candidates will need to be results-focused team players who have good customer service skills and an eye for detail. We are looking for people who have a common-sense approach to problem solving with strong commercial awareness, looking for an opportunity that offers genuine progression within a growing business.
Key Tasks
* End to end inventory management for key categories within the portfolio
* Manage day to day communications with suppliers, including potential visits to suppliers internationally to ensure a full understanding of the of the production and logistics process.
* Ensure stock and forecast information is analysed & interpreted accurately with orders placed accordingly to allow us to maintain above 98% OTIF (on time in full) deliveries across all sales channels.
* Work in conjunction with Sales Account Managers, including attending and presenting at customer meetings for all supply chain and logistics matters. Meetings may take place at customers offices internationally.
* Weekly analysis of sales, stockholding, and forecasts on relevant key customer contracts
* Work collaboratively with key suppliers to ensure they have accurate and up to date forecasts that allow them to make necessary plans and commitments for successful delivery of future requirements.
* Analysis of new range performance with a view to providing insight and influence for future key customer range reviews.
Key Skills
* Advanced Excel Skills
* Data Analysis (ideal experience in Forecast Accuracy & Bias, IOQ)
* Experience in FMCG Sector in UK
* Strong administration skills & Attention to detail.
* Proactive & can work independently
* Experience working with Slim4 (ideal but not essential)
* Experience working with Sage 200 (ideal but not essential)
Would suit candidates with Demand Analyst, Supply Planners, Master Analyst experience (5years +)
