Do you have strong administration skills with a good eye for detail?Do you have good Microsoft excel skills?Are you looking for a new permanent position in Bedford?If you can answer yes to the above then I may just have the perfect role for you.I am recruiting for a supply chain administrator on behalf of one of our clients in Bedford. This is not a purchasing role but requires ordering products from the parent company and calculating stock requirements based on past ordering history and forward orders.We are looking for someone with good customer service or order inputting experience with a keen eye for detail.What’s in it for you?What will the supply chain administrator be doing?Action general sales enquiries and ensure customer orders and enquiries are dealt with in a professional and timely manner and service levels are met (within own control). Liaise with customers/suppliers, supply chain staff and transport companies to ensure bookings and delivery slots are achieved.Ensure customer orders, enquiries and complaints are dealt with in an efficient and timely manner and service levels are met. Ensure that order input, customer service functions and day-to-day processes are being completed accurately and maintained to a high standard.Ensure day-to-day administration within the customer service department is maintained, ensuring all concerns and issues are raised with Sales Manager.Effectively calculate forward orders and demand, monitor and manage inventory levels in line Company purchasing requirements. Liaise with purchasing to ensure accurate purchasing needs and logistics to ensure customer’s requirements can be met.Ensure that incoming product are in line with customer demand, liaising with the manufacturer and Sales teams to ensure continued supply.Monitor and manage the inventory, such as new products and stock levels ensuring surplus stocks are advised to Sales Manager; to be sold either through retail or wholesale.Assisting where necessary in respect to updating our website and on-line presence to assist with brand awareness and consumer interaction.Attendance at exhibitions, trade fairs and customer meetings as required in support of the Sales Team.Delivering ad hoc projects on time and to agreed objectives along with other duties as required within the role and when deemed necessary.What skills and experience are we looking for?Strong organisational skills and time managementComputer literate with an extensive understanding of Microsoft Excel, Word.
