Elevation Recruitment Group are working with an innovative and dynamic manufacturer based on the outskirts of Leeds to recruit a Supplier Quality Manager.
The Supplier Quality Manager will focus on improving the performance of current suppliers and developing new suppliers.
Duties and responsibilities of the Supplier Quality Manager will include:
- Complete management of Supplier Quality related activities across the organisation
- Lead, coach and develop the supplier quality team to deliver organisational and functional goals
- Provide proactive support to operations to prevent issues
- Manage the supplier quality team to support reactive supplier quality issues & issue resolution
- Work cross-functionally with the sourcing, R&D and supply chain teams to implement process improvements leading to improvements in supplier performance
- Lead technological development and capital technology introduction within goods inward & part approval processes
- Develop & drive continual improvement within supplier quality-related processes
- Lead the team to resolve field and warranty issues related to supplied part quality
We would like to speak with Supplier Quality Managers with the following:
- Degree Qualified
- Experience in supplier quality management in automotive OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers
- Experience in strategy development, business transformation, change management and programme management
- Deep understanding & experience in the application of root cause problem solving approaches
