About IT ServicesIT Services at the University of Manchester is a vibrant and fast-moving department, we focus on delivering excellent customer service and quality services for our staff, students and researchers.The TeamThe Governance, Risk and Compliance Team (GRC) manage risk and assurance within the IT Services Directorate (ITS). They are responsible for coordinating the management of function-level risk within ITS, and ensuring that the University maintain appropriate standards of Health and Safety, PCI DSS, etc. GRC collaborate with key functions and stakeholders across the University, working to improve the efficiency of security, governance and risk processes.The RoleWorking within GRC, the Supplier Assurance Analyst (SAA) will be responsible for supporting the onboarding, and ongoing oversight of ITS suppliers, in terms of risk and assurance. They will collaborate closely with key business stakeholders and conduct risk assessments and audits of ITS supplier processes and systems, ensuring that they comply with University policy and standards.The SAA will maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assurance activities, generating detailed reports of findings and recommendations for management and relevant stakeholders.
