Are you ready to advance your career? We're hiring a Supervisor to join our client’s team in Southend. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our client’s production processes while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

Details:

Salary: Up to £34,800 per annum (dependent on experience)

Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time, 39 Hours

Location: Southend

Working hours:

Monday – Thursday: 8:00 – 17:00 (30 mins lunch)

Friday: 8:00 – 13:00 (no lunch)

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand Master Production Schedule and Production Plan to deliver the MPS
• Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks as delegated by the department Manager
• Monitor and plan resources to ensure appropriateness to workload
• Manage staff holidays to minimize disruption to the team
• Delegate tasks to team members and ensure timely and cost-effective completion
• Conduct performance reviews and provide additional training as necessary
• Ensure team members operate in accordance with quality procedures
• Maintain a safe working environment in accordance with Company policies
• Maintain excellent standards of housekeeping
• Complete corrective actions promptly
• Perform other duties as requested by the Manager and/or VP

Experience/Skills Required:

• SAP knowledge
• Experience working within the Manufacturing industry
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment
• Strong communication and delegation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel & Outlook
