Supervisor - Manufacturing

A well-established market leader in Aerospace products are looking to recruit a Manufacturing Supervisor to join their team based in St Neots. You will plan production, allocate work, supervise staff and monitor work progress. If you have experience of working within a fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment at a supervisory level then this company can offer a great salary, and benefits package.Duties:Manage the creation and delivery of the daily production planCarry out stage kitting and prepare build stages for single piece flow productionEnsure production standards are maintained and standard work instructions are followedMonitor the build process through layered auditing and monitor single piece flow stages to ensure on time completionReview daily performance to ensure Safety, Quality, Cost & Delivery (SQCD) KPI's are being metEnsure that team members understand and adhere to the Company rules & procedures.Monitor attendance and timekeeping of team members, approving and managing staff holidays to minimise the disruption to the production scheduleComplete performance reviews for their team identifying and carrying out additional trainingEnsuring that team members operate in accordance with quality proceduresAssist in identifying methods for continuous improvementBe responsible for the safe working of the team ensuring H&S policies are adhered toExperience:Experience of working within the electronics manufacturing industryPrevious supervisory experience is essentialIPC610 & IPC620 is highly desirableAn engineering apprenticeship would be preferableQualified to GCSE grade C or above is essentialMust be able to work under pressure in a busy, varied, and demanding roleExcellent communication skills are essentialIOSH or NEBOSH qualifications would be preferredMust have good Microsoft office skillsBenefits:Hours 8am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, Finish at 1pm on Friday24 days holiday plus bank holidayContributory Pension, Health Care Cash Plan, Employee Assistance Programme and Company Sick pay after a qualifying period.Life AssuranceFree car parking
