Supervisor – Training & Operational Support (RTITB)Location: Fleets Corner, PooleTeam: Day ShiftWorking Hours: Flexible – Monday To FridayMain PurposeThe primary purpose of this vacancy is to support our operational supervisors on site to cover annual leave, we are currently in growth and the right candidate will proactively ensure that we have supervisory cover across all departments and will enable site to rotate this peer group to be multi-functional across all warehouse responsibilities.You will also be responsible for planning, organising and delivering comprehensive training programs on a variety of MHE equipment and compliance both on site and for group, As the RTITB training Instructor at Poole Bay Holdings, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of Material Handling Equipment across operations.Supervisory Responsibilities:Establish, monitor and maintain agreed KPI’s for all warehouse activity inclusive of short interval control and daily review meetings.Liaise, support and develop effective working relationships with internal and external customers.Coordinating the use of automated and computerised systems where necessaryStrong system control, ensuring adjustments are fully understood and reported, ensuring efficient flows of stock.Organising training activities/scheduling.Attention to quality and right first time.Maintain a safe working environment which complies with aspects of the company H&S procedures & environmental control.Daily team briefings, shift reporting and handovers.Coordination of FTE’s and temporary labour across the operation.RTITB Instructor Responsibilities:Conduct engaging and informative training sessions on Material Handling Equipment, including but not limited to Counterbalance, Bendi and PPT.Customize training programs to meet the specific needs and requirements of our business.Ensure that all training sessions comply with Health and Safety regulations.Provide clear and effective instruction, fostering a positive learning environment.Evaluate trainees’ performance and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills.Maintain accurate records of training sessions and participants’ progress.Keep up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and safety regulations.Person Specification: Qualifications
