Supervising Social Worker - Therapeutic Fostering Agency

salary between £38,000 to £42,000 per annum, depending on experience

NonStop Care is working with a well established Independent Fostering Agency in the South London in order to help them recruit for a Supervising Social Worker who can join them on a permanent basis.

The Supervising Social Worker in this role will be joining a therapeutic Independent Fostering Agency with an Outstanding Ofsted rating. They provide therapeutic training, including support in getting the DDP qualification, allowing you to expand your knowledge and skills within therapeutic fostering.

Responsibilities:

The Supervising Social Worker will oversee a small caseload of 10 - 12 foster families with about 15 children in their care. The foster families are located in the South London area.

In this role, you will be involved in the recruitment, assessment and supervision of the foster families.

You will have a hybrid role, working 2 days from home and 3 from their office in Croydon.

They are a therapeutic fostering agency and they provide ongoing therapeutic training (including DDP training and Sensory Attachment Intervention training), so you can develop your skills.

Requirements:

Please apply if you are a Qualified Social Worker and if you have experience in working in fostering or within a LAC team. You must have a Social Work Degree and a driving license also.
