Position Overview:

As a Superintendent MRI Radiographer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering top-tier patient care through cutting-edge MRI scanning techniques. Beyond this, you will be a key contributor to the clinic's operations, working closely with management to ensure the team excels. This role is exclusively focused on MRI procedures, presenting a unique opportunity to refine your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the Clinical Manager to uphold the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency in our centre.
• Work with the Clinical Manager to ensure that the Reception Team and clinical staff are proficient in manual patient transfers in emergency scenarios.
• Take charge of stock control and the ordering of essential supplies for the centre
• Actively engage with the broader team to contribute innovative ideas for projects and process enhancements.
• Conduct clinical risk assessments to ensure patient safety.
• Under the guidance of the Clinic Manager and Projects and Compliance Lead, ensure strict adherence to relevant legislation and regulations, including ISO and CQC standards.
• Ensure the Clinical Bank Team is well-versed in and compliant with Oryon's Policies and Procedures, with a special focus on the Mental Capacity Act (#####), Duty of Candour, Code of Confidentiality, and GDPR.
• Prepare the team to respond effectively to major failures in line with the company's procedures, including the implementation of a clear reactive and tracked workflow. Provide training to all team members, including bank workers, for system failures and downtime procedures in accordance with the Business Continuity Plan (BCP).
• Collaborate closely with the Operations Manager and Clinical Manager to maintain our CQC rating and strive for an outstanding rating.

Requirements:

• Diploma of the College of Radiographers or BSc (Hons) in Diagnostic Radiography, supplemented by postgraduate experience.
• Current State Registration with HCPC.
• Proficiency in MRI scanning techniques and IV contrast media administration.
• Prior leadership and supervisory experience.
