Job Title: Substitute Teacher

Location: Bournemouth

Salary: Dependent on Experience - £120-£150

Start Date: Immediate start possible, as well as September starts


Are you an enthusiastic and adaptable teacher seeking a flexible teaching role in Bournemouth?

GSL Education are currently hiring Substitute teachers for the local primary schools in the Bournemouth area. As a Substitute Teacher, you will provide high-quality teaching cover for when teachers are absent. You will be able to have flexibility over your bookings and the days in which you would like to work, enabling you to have a healthy work-life balance. Due to the nature of the role, you will be teaching across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, therefore experience within both key stages would be beneficial.

Any teachers interested in this opportunity are required to:


  • Hold a PGCE /QTS
  • Be confident within your behaviour management skills and be able to adapt to different school’s behaviour policies
  • Be flexible and prepared to cover a range of subjects and year groups
