We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Sub Agent to join our team and contribute to a prestigious highways scheme in Hampshire. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of this project, overseeing various aspects of construction operations to ensure they are completed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with project specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate site activities, including subcontractors, materials, and resources, to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of the project.
  • Supervise and support site personnel, providing leadership, guidance, and technical expertise as required.
  • Monitor project progress, budget, and quality, identifying and addressing any issues or deviations from the plan.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies, promoting a culture of safety awareness and accountability among all team members.
  • Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and project partners to maintain positive relationships and resolve any issues or concerns promptly.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to project activities, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and company standards.

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience working in a similar role on highways or infrastructure projects, ideally within the UK construction industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of construction methods, materials, and processes.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
  • Valid CSCS card and relevant industry certifications (e.g., SMSTS, First Aid) are desirable.
