Pay Rate: £19.55 per hour

Hours: Full-time, Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm. Initial contract is 3 months.

Main Duties of the Student Support Advisor:


  • Provide comprehensive and flexible support, information, advice, and guidance to learners to enhance their likelihood of successful program completion and progression into further education, training, or employment.
  • Collaborate closely with students, staff, and external organizations to safeguard students and tailor holistic support to their individual needs.
  • Organise and support a range of activities aimed at engaging learners within the wider college community and preparing them for life in society.

Requirements of the Student Support Advisor:


  • Demonstrated minimum of three years of experience working with vulnerable young people.
  • Strong background in safeguarding and providing guidance to students.
  • Documentation verifying eligibility to work and reside in the UK.
