Student Counsellor Volunteer - PlacementsOur Carers counselling service offers Carers face to face, online/digital and telephone counselling options.Placement opportunities provide counselling students with first-hand experience of working with and learning about the emotional experiences of young & adult carers.In return we offer a full induction programme, an opportunity to practice & develop counselling skills, training opportunities, free mentoring, and the chance to be part of a great team. We are also able to offer group and one-to-one supervision at a discounted student rate.SkillsWe engage student counsellors who are currently in training on a recognised counselling & psychotherapy courses – level 4 and above. There is also a requirement that all students are receiving personal therapy and clinical supervision.1-3 weekly session can be offered - subject to appropriate skills, learning and developmentLocationThis opportunity is available in: Southend
