My client is a top tier consultancy with a strong focus on sustainable design and they are currently seeking a technically strong, creative, and passionate structural engineer to join their London design Studio. Working within a supportive team, the role will require you to produce efficient, high-quality technical designs for both new build and refurbishment projects in a wide range of sectors. You will need to be enthusiastic, hard-working, and looking to take on responsibility and keen to develop your career over the coming years.
As a practice they have 4 offices across the UK and employ 70 staff, 10 of which are in their established and growing London studio. You will be working with high profile architects, developers and high net worth individuals developing schemes and overseeing the project delivery as well as maintaining a hands on approach to the projects.
The ideal candidate:

• Has 4 to 10 years of relevant structural engineering experience
• Is a confident communicator, able to explain engineering concepts clearly and simply
• Is passionate about continuous learning and technical excellence
• Has a strong interest in architecture and the relationship between structural engineering and architectural design
• Is committed to sustainability and reducing embodied carbon through design
• Enjoys engineering and passing on their knowledge through mentoring younger engineers
• Is near chartered or is a chartered member of the IStructE or ICE (or other relevant institution)
• Has the ability to design and deliver structural solutions on complex projects.
