Our client, a progressive multi disciplined Structural and Civil Engineering Consultancy based in Leicester, is seeking a Structural CAD/Revit Technician to join their established team.

The Role;




  • Production of high quality drawings using AutoCAD and Revit Structures

  • Provide support to team members where required

  • Occasional site visits to perform measured surveys or assist Engineers

  • Preparation of technical supporting data

  • Ensure compliance to the appropriate company CAD/Revit standards and protocols

  • Client liaison via email, phone and meetings when applicable

  • Any other duties as reasonably requested





Our Ideal Candidate;




  • Ability to demonstrate a high proficiency using AutoCAD and Revit Structures

  • Preferred experience in Structural Engineering

  • Ability to produce high quality drawings and Revit models with limited supervision and instruction from engineers, working from calculations and sketches

  • Understand the BIM process and demonstrate the importance of coordination

  • Communicate professionally (verbal and written) with clients, other consultants and contractors

  • Understand the construction process and how buildings are designed and constructed

  • Foundation, masonry, RC, steelwork and timber experience required

  • Conversant with recent releases of AutoCAD and Revit Structures

  • Ability to solve problems and present solutions

  • Highly organised with the ability to work with limited supervision

  • IT literate with competency in Microsoft Office

  • Ability to learn new processes and systems with ease

  • Flexible with the ability to transfer between several concurrent projects

  • Ability to listen and follow instructions from all members of the team
