Location – Birchington, Kent (Due to the location, you will need access to a vehicle as public transport is not an option)

Salary - £15-£20 Per Hour Dependant on Experience

Are you an experienced Strip Fitter?

Do you come from an automotive background?

We have an amazing opportunity in Manston for an experienced Strip Fitter to work for one of our clients on a permanent basis. In this role, you will be working full-time hours Monday – Friday 7am-4.30pm for an hourly rate of £15-£20 per hour depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Assessing the level of damage for vehicle disassembly


• Removing damaged panels and reassembling vehicles after repair


• Mechanical, electrical, and trim repairs


• Identify and document any additional damage or issues discovered during the stripping process


• Record removed parts for inventory management and future reassembly


• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the stripping area to ensure a productive working environment

Person Specification:

• Minimum of 3 years’ previous experience as a Strip Fitter


• Due to the location, you will need access to a vehicle as public transport is not an option


• Keen to support and cooperate well with team members


• Excellent organisation and time management skills


• Able to maintain quality under pressure


• Proficiency in using various hand and power tools for disassembly tasks


• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of vehicle components and systems
