Responsibilities:

  • Perform stress analysis and structural assessments on aerospace components and systems.
  • Utilise software tools such as HyperMesh, HyperSizer, and Nastran to conduct finite element analysis (FEA) and ensure structural integrity.
  • Collaborate with design engineers and other stakeholders to identify and resolve structural issues.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on stress-related matters to project teams.
  • Generate technical reports and documentation to communicate analysis results and recommendations effectively.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in stress analysis and structural assessment within the aerospace industry.
  • Proficiency in using engineering software tools such as HyperMesh, HyperSizer, and Nastran.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience working on aircraft structures is highly desirable.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks within project deadlines.

Location: Filton, Bristol

Employment Type: Contract (Minimum 6 months, rolling)

IR35 Status: Outside IR35

Working Arrangement: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote

Hourly Rate: Up to �41 per hour

Must be eligible for BPSS
