This is a home-based role, however, you must be willing to travel across our geographical area (e.g. Carlisle, Manchester)This role is a fundamental part of ENW's commitment to minimise the financial and reputational risks associated with street works non-compliance and to support the company objective of achieving street works excellence.What are we looking for?Hold a NRSWA (New Roads & Street Works Act) accreditation (desirable).A good understanding of NRSWA, TMA (Traffic Management Act) and its associated legislation & codes of practice including SROH, The Safety Code etc. (desirable).Have experience of auditing/inspecting street works (desirable).Be in possession of a full UK driving licence (essential) with categories B+E (desirable).Be comfortable and competent to work alone for long periods of time (essential).Be willing to work outside in all weathers (essential).Be well organised and comfortable working as part of both large and small teams (essential).Have an adaptable and flexible working style with the ability to respond to changing situations and areas of work. (essential)Be customer focused with the ability to communicate with both internal and external stakeholders (essential).Be comfortable with working unsociable hours at short notice (essential).Be comfortable with long periods of travel across the geographical area (essential).Have a working knowledge of computers and mobile devices (essential).What we are offering: -A competitive salary, a colleague bonus scheme, a market leading contribution pension scheme, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays rising to a maximum of 30 days plus a variety of flexible benefits including buying and selling holidays and the opportunity for career development.If successful in your application, we will require additional information in order to complete a number of pre-employment checks before the offer can become unconditional.
