Street Cleaning Operative

Location: Llangollen & South Denbighshire

Hours: 37 hours per week (5 days in 7) with some weekend work required

Pay Rate: £11.98 per hour

Duties:

• Litter picking
• Fly-tipping removal
• Emptying public litter bins
• Road sweeping
• Driving vehicles appropriate to the license held when needed
• Work well alongside and follow instructions from fully qualified staff on day-to-day tasks
• Adhere to Health & Safety requirements

Job Requirements:

• Basic understanding of literacy, numeracy and relevant Health & Safety awareness
• Physical ability to undertake tasks, including lifting heavy objects with appropriate training
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions and exposure to other conditions such as dirt and noise
• Must hold a full driving licence
