Publicis LEON is a bespoke 120 person strong Publicis Media agency proposition for Haleon the newly launched rebrand of GSK Consumer Health, looking after flagship household health care brands such as Sensodyne, Voltaren, Panadol, Aquafresh and many more. This role sits within the strategy team delivering for the Global Marketing department for Haleon.

Job Description

Sitting within the Publicis Le One London Hub, you will be a core member of our strategy/client team, working directly with the Global Category client team. You will be the key day-to-day contact for your brands and be the driving force in the development and landing of their global strategies, supported by a Strategy Manager. You will play a front-line role in building and shaping the application of data and strategic excellence across all that we do: building audience understanding, shaping strategic innovation and communication strategies, while also driving the relationship with your clients and their partner agencies. You will be responsible for leading the development of these strategies with the guiding support of the Global Strategy Director & Lead.
Haleon have undergone significant evolution under the new brand launch and to continue with their rapid growth they must make deeper, more persuasive, more emotional connections with consumers. The Global Category Strategy Associate Director will play an essential role in this journey by overseeing the development of market leading connections strategies and ensuring we operate at the leading edge of strategic media thinking and practice.
Consequently, we are seeking driven and emotionally intelligent candidates who have proven planning or strategy experience and client management experitise. We are looking for someone who will bring energy and enthusiasm to our strategic client work and team.
You will report into Global Strategy Director and be responsible for the development and deployment of global brand strategies on a day-to-day basis for your respective brands. You will collaborate regularly with Publicis teams based in Haleon core markets to gain knowledge and best practice tactics that will feed into global brand strategies. You will orchestrate collaboration with creative agencies to help develop cut through communications and deliver our annual client scope of work and thought leadership programme.

Qualifications

You are an experienced strategic planner with a track record of developing insight driven, data fueled communication solutions and strategies. You are someone who is prepared to ‘lean in’ to help a client embrace change with solid expertise in media planning spanning on and offline. You are strategic thinker, influencing clients and local markets alike to think differently in order to drive brand growth. You can inspire and motivate both your colleagues, client, and creative partners. You are a natural communicator who gets excited when sharing your thoughts, is firm in their marketing and media principles, and a clear orator able to make even a complex principle or strategy come across simply.

You are confident, persuasive, collaborative and opinionated. You are comfortable leading conversation in a crowded room/ zoom call, who is also respective of others views to strengthen your own. You are a diplomat who can be assertive and authoritative to drive positive results internally with your colleagues, and externally with clients and other agency partners. You are driven by happy clients.

Publicis Groupe operates a hybrid working pattern with employees being office-based on Mondays and two other days during the working week.
