Our People team need a proactive and focused
Strategic Workforce Planning & Analytics Manager, who'll report directly to the HR Director. In this newly created role, you’ll work closely with our Workday team where you’ll be the SME for the deployment of Workday Adaptive Planning for the business. Once the module is deployed, you’ll evolve our approach to Strategic Workforce Planning working with our Pillar Executives and Strategic HR Business Partners to build a comprehensive Workforce plan for the next five years. Haywards Heath, West Sussex, Salford Quays, Manchester, Guernsey, and Gibraltar , w
e love hybrid working, so you'll spend most of your time working from home and will only attend the office for team meetings (around once a month) but of course, it’s your choice - if you prefer to be in the office more - that's good with us too.
You'll be the perfect person for us if:You’ve worked with Workday, although this isn’t essential as training can be provided to the right person.Have extensive workforce planning experience gained at an organisational wide level.Enjoy collaborating with senior stakeholders, execs, and directors.Have people leading skills and are happy to manage a small team.Powering the business with the right toolsJob responsibilities:Be the lead SME for the implementation of the Adaptive Workforce Planning module in our Workday system and for the module moving forward, working closely with our in-house Workday team.Forecasting staffing requirements for the next 5 years.Identify capability and skills gaps and work with our L&D & Talent teams to ensure plans are in place to fill those gaps.Producing and analysing reports that predict future requirements.Collecting and managing data to support business operations.Implementing and overseeing workforce policies and practices.Assessing gaps and planning interventions to ensure the right people with the right skills are in the right places.Defining our internal processes for collecting data from Pillars for internal Strategic Workforce Planning exercises.Work closely with our Strategic HR Business Partners in each Pillar to ensure deployment of Strategic Workforce Planning processes are consistent across all Pillars within the business.Understand our future business strategy and model any workforce changes in Workday to understand future impacts.Line manage our People Insights & Systems Analyst working closely together to automate reporting and analytics from the Workday system and wider People team data.Comply with the requirements, and act in accordance with, the Group Code of Conduct and Fitness and Propriety policies at all times.Ensure compliance with Company Policies, Values and guidelines and other relevant standards/ regulations at all times,Job-specific competenciesExperience & knowledgeIdeally Workday experience is preferable but not essential as training can be provided to the right person.Extensive experience of workforce planning on an organisation wide level.Experience of working with senior stakeholders to gain buy in and trust.Experience of managing a small team.Knowledge of FCA requirements (including individual responsibilities in relation to Consumer Duty)Skills & QualificationsStrong data analytic skills being able to analyse complex data, assess operational needs and make strategic recommendations.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenExcellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to develop successful relationships with senior stakeholders.Good time management and organisation skillsProblem solving skills with the ability to adopt a logical approach to solving problems.Computer literate, able to use Excel and Word proficiently and with the ability to use Outlook, PowerPoint and Visio with training provided if necessary.BehavioursTakes initiative to make decisions and provide strategic solutions in a changing environment.Self-motivated and enthusiasticAn organised and proactive approachAbility to work on own initiative and as part of a team.A flexible approach and positive attitudeStrives to drive business improvements to contribute to the success of the business.If this sounds like a great opportunity for you, then apply today and see what a brilliant place it is to work here at First Central!What can we do for you?
