Summary.Job DescriptionStrategic Operations Data AnalystLocation: Leeds, Thorpe Park, Hybrid working.We’re Overdales Legal. We do this honestly, ethically and by treating our customers with dignity and respect.We buy debts from lots of different companies in all kinds of sectors as well as provide collection services for other businesses.Our focus on sustainability, hybrid working, leadership development and career progression makes working at Lowell a rewarding experience.As a Strategic Operations Data Analyst, you will be responsible for maintaining, governing, and growing our Overdales MI, utilising your expertise of SQL, excel and Power BI environments. You will maximise the use of data, visualisations, reporting and automation within Overdales to understand and influence business strategy & performance. You will work closely with other leaders within Overdales and across our UK Group to provide information, insights, and forecasts, supporting a positive culture for our people, our clients, and our customers.Accountabilities and Responsibilities:These are split into three core areas – Telephony/Dialler, Data & MI, Governance & Controls:Telephony/DiallerEnsure enhancements are identified and deployed to maximise business performance whilst ensuring cost benefit analysis remains positive.Remain at the cutting edge of product releases and utilise these where appropriate.Lead deployment of new strategies & initiatives.Lead strategic build and management oversight of telephony and dialling capabilities.Management & maintenance of telephone numbers, there allocation, and use within live environments.Solution design based on leadership requirements, advanced knowledge of systems and supporting applications.Data, MI & AnalyticsEnsuring the integrity of all data within the SQL data warehouse & Power BI instances.Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, developing champion challenges to drive business success etc.Providing multiple solutions to resolve live and/or potential challenges, maximising business performance, and implement with limited to no oversight (post sign off) providing detailed evidence of success. Provide insightful, data driven MI transforming complex information, so all stakeholders have a strong understanding of the desired outputGovernance & ControlsLead in understanding and adherence to all regulatory requirements for the role (OFCOM, FCA, SRA, OFGEM etc).Lead crisis management with
intermediate/advanced
knowledge of IT infrastructure to enable prompt resolution.Manage Risks and Control framework ensuring all risks are known, raised, and managed in a timely manner.Out of hours testing, critical trouble shooting, and issue resolution either planned or at short notice.What we need from you:Ability to communicate effectively/present analytical concepts to stakeholders at all levels.Evidence of highly developed critical thinking, analytical, and decision-making skills.Extensive experience working in a high-pressure environment, working with large datasets & working with multiple competing objectives with a strong record of success.Able to manage workloads effectively and take ownership and resolve issues.A proven track record and experience of analysing data from multiple sources/systems providing context/visuals to bring this data to live and define proposed next steps.A High level of knowledge of Telephony Systems (dialler), SQL, and Resource planning principles and practices.At least 3 years’ advanced experience in,Power BI / Power Query / DAX / SQL / Dialler technologies,Excel (Int/Exp),Bringing data to live through effective presentations.Bespoke application building and associated tools to enhance overall effectiveness of
