Developing and implementing category strategies for your defined procurement spendWorking collaboratively in cross function al teams to drive sourcing and procurement projects for NPD and ProductionLeading on tendering, contract negotiation and contract managementManaging supplier relationships and driving improvements in supplier performanceDelivering savings, cash flow improvements, innovation and quality for your categoryActing as the main point of contact for internal stakeholder queriesUndertaking European business travel, as requiredYou will ideally have… Previous experience in a strategic procurement role, managing direct spend within a manufacturing environmentProven track record working with suppliers and/or internal stakeholders outside of the UK, managing spend across multiple sites / manufacturing locationsGood knowledge of category management techniquesStrong negotiation skills / commercial acumenExcellent analytical skills and knowledge of ExcelAbility to undertake short European business trips, as required (no more than 10% travel)This role will suit a motivated, self-starter who is comfortable taking the initiative and driving their own projects forward!Why should I apply?If you are looking for...
