Stores Team Leader Based: Pulborough
Main Objectives you will be responsible for the timely kitting and accuracy of all Work Orders (WO), Inventory Transactions, Printing, moving of material from the stores function to production, and to deputise for the Stores Manager in their absence.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for the accuracy of kitting. To investigate and resolve stock discrepancies. To be the first tier of escalation for Stores team. Work closely with Stores Manager to ensure efficient day–to–day running of Stores department. Ensure stores KPIs are met/exceeded related to the kitting time/kitting accuracy/cycle counting. Bring ideas to management and implements necessary process improvements Able and willing to work necessary hours to meet all Stores deadlines. Responsible for ensuring daily checks are completed on forklift/company van. Responsibility for adhering to the Company s ISO 9001 Quality, ISO14001 Environmental and Health and Safety management systems and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Previous knowledge/experience of warehouse/stock room supervision an advantage. Capability to respond quickly, decisively, assertively, and professionally to changing requirements in demand. Ability to organise, schedule, coordinate and set priorities in a manner which ensures maximum performance and goal accomplishment. Good understanding of G2, ScanStar and the ability to apply to manufacturing processes. Ability to work with several projects simultaneously. Ability to motivate others in a team environment. Ability to collaborate and involve others in decision–making and problem solving.
