After another brilliant growth year we are looking to recruit an experienced Stores Assistant/ Stores Person for our busy, and ever growing warehouse in Waterbeach, Cambridge.

Based at the iM Med Warehouse, the Stores Assistant/ Stores Person will be responsible for processing incoming orders and preparing engineer kits primarily but the role will also involve managing stock levels within our warehouse to ensure that customer orders can always be processed in a timely manner.





The Stores Assistant/ Stores Person role will include:




  • Accurately maintaining the company stock system;

  • Loading and unloading transport vehicles safely and efficiently;

  • Picking and packing part and consumable orders;

  • Carrying out stock checks as required;

  • Keeping stores and warehouse areas clean and tidy.



We are particularly interested in applicants for the Stores Person with the following:




  • Experience of working in a busy warehouse

  • Excellent communication skills

  • A team player with proactive and flexible approach to their work

  • Ability to multitask effectively and prioritise work based on customer needs

  • Strong analytical skills, with an eye for detail

  • Experience in the medical device industry is a advantageous, as is experience diagnosing and resolving technical problems on complex electro-mechanical equipment and experience with maintaining and servicing within a regulated industry environment
