Stores / FLT Driver - Nights

Spitfire Staffing is currently recruiting on behalf of one of our well established and successful clients in Lymington. 

Due to further success and an upturn in business, they are looking for reliable and hardworking candidates to join the team.

Role:

• Provision of service in Goods Out to enable goods to be distributed to fulfil the requirements of the customer base.


• Ensure that finished goods are picked and prepared for dispatch in a timely and accurate way.


• Communicating with the Goods Out supervisor or Production Managers about issues that may compromise the service we provide.


• Loading both custom arranged vehicles and vehicles organised by the company. 


• Receive deliveries of finished goods pallets. 


• Check quantities, record receipt and pass on any paperwork to the


• Goods Out supervisor.


• Accepting goods safely into the department and storing them correctly, using forklift equipment as necessary.


• Maintaining exceptional housekeeping, security and Health and Safety at all times.


• Assist with stock take as required.


• Correctly and efficiently using handover sheets.


• Attend training courses as required.


• Carry out other duties as needed from time to time in other departments. 

Details:

• Temp to Perm


• £11.53 raising to £13.16 on completion of training


• Monday to Thursday 22:00 – 06:00


• Friday 17:00 – 22:00


• Training will be done on the day shift Mon-Thurs 08:00-16:00, Fri 08:00-13:00.

Requirements:

• Counterbalance and Reach licence.


• GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English.


• Ability to interpret detailed work orders, works-to list, and onsite procedures.


• Ability to communicate effectively.


• Operate as part of a manufacturing team in a busy and fast paced environment.


• Flexibility with start and finish times depending on the needs of the business.
