Stores Assistant

Adecco have teamed up with a forward thinking and dynamic client who are in the manufacturing industry, they are looking to add to their already successful warehouse and logistic department. As a Stores Assistant you will play an integral part in the logistical operation covering the UK.

Salary: �23,000 to �24,000

Hours: Monday to Thursday 8.15am to 5.00pm and Friday 8.15am to 3.45pm

The main day to day responsibilities in the warehouse:

• Receipt & checking of incoming stock.
• Picking and packing of both sales & service orders ready for despatch.
• Updating of various stores excel logs.
• Maintaining good warehouse/stock practices.
• Limited Face to face interaction with customers/couriers to take in goods or customer jobs.
• Support to other departments with anything packaging related. (POS, Goodie bags, Brochures, Stands etc.)
• Booking in of service jobs after receipt via SAP system.

This amazing company will look to recruit candidates with the following;

• Good organisational & time management skills.
• Basic level of understanding of MS office, mainly outlook & teams.
• Previous packing experience.
• Good with numbers/counting, high attention to detail.
• Pallet wrapping & strapping.
