Rate: £18.66 PAYE

Duration: Contract end December 24th

Position Summary

The Ideal candidate must be motivated to learn, have practical experience in stock control. You will be expected to possess strong customer service skills, ensuring a smooth and seamless experience for all stakeholders. Effective communication skills will be essential for liaising with colleagues and units during collection and delivery of stock. Being a proactive team member, you should be able to manage your own workload efficiently while providing support to other Storekeepers when required. Your flexibility and diligent approach to meeting deadlines will contribute significantly to the overall efficiency of the store's operations

The Storekeeper will be :

Expected to carry out receipt and recording of all incoming goods and issue all parts from the component store.
Conduct all tasks related to the raw materials store, tooling store, hazardous goods store, embodiment loan and repair components store.
Carry out all tasks related to the packing and despatching of all goods from the site.
Responsible for maintaining and tracking inventory levels as instructed.
Ensuring that the store is clean and well-maintained is another important aspect of the job.
Required to carry out driving duties and other stores- related tasks as delegated by the Stores Supervisor.Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

Proven experience of working within a similar stores environment.
Experience of working with "Lean" manufacturing process would be advantageous.
Computer literate - with the likes of Word & Excel#.
Stock control methods, MRP/ERP systems
Well organised, detail oriented and ability to multitask
Good written and verbal communication
Strong team player
