It is a varied role dealing with multiple stakeholders, the most important of which are the Store and Divisional teams. You will support and manage regions within a division, owning the application and optimisation of store space through grading, delivering the business space strategy whilst reflecting local customer requirements. Then articulate this back to senior stakeholdersBecome the main point of contact for Regional Managers and Store Managers for all things Clothing and Home Space performance. Respond to change requests to store grading by focusing on what will positively impact business performance, utilising the Retail engagement process to respond and feedback to store space and grading change requests.As part of the Space Performance team to conduct Space Surgeries 3 times a year to work with Regional Managers to identify the biggest opportunities and ensure alignment to business strategy.Undertake store visits across your division with senior stakeholders to help understand store geography, BU locations and customer flow to help aid in decision making to ensure we are maximising our store estate.Who you areYour skills and experience will includeAbility to initiate, build and maintain strong working relationships and influence across Space Planning, Retail, Stores, BUs (Business Unit) with all key stakeholders.Strong analytical, numerical, and interpretive commercial skills.Be able to prioritise and manage your own workload, keeping several varied tasks going at the same time.Be able to challenge and debate with key stakeholders, presenting clear and concise fact-based decisions.Proficient level of excel skills.Everyone's welcomeM&S is ready to push boundaries to lead the retail industry into a greener, speedier, more inspiring digital era.
