An exciting opportunity for a hands-on Store Manager to join a dynamic team in Stamford Bridge, York. This is an exciting opportunity to manage the day to day running of the store for a thriving business. You can expect a salary at or around £26,000-£28,000 along with a great benefits package including an annual bonus, 30 days annual leave, store discount, cycle to work scheme, and fantastic company events and parties. The Store Manager role is essential to the supervision of the store, ensuring customers requirements are met in full and all procedures are being carried out. Some of the responsibilities of the Store Manager will be:Maximising sales performance through leading and supporting the team of 6Planning staff rota to ensure effective coverEnsure team is delivering the best possible customer care including provision of product information, advice and general supportAdministration of daily cash control, product price tagging and store securityResponsible for stock control and rotation, stock takes, stock reconciliation, and stock write down reportingMaintain a high standard of product presentation and merchandisingEnsure high standards of housekeeping are maintained throughout the businessAll products shelved or stacked, with daily recovery and replenishment in place and products correctly priced.Weekly ordering of stock and controlling levels to support salesEnsure stock is rotated to avoid products being unsalable because of expiry datesEnsure all promotional material is relevant and tidyDaily ‘end of day’ cash reconciliationThis will be working 40 hours a week, 5 days over 7 with the hours being flexible to meet business needs between the hours 8am-5pm, earning a salary between £26,000-£28,000 depending on experience and industry knowledge.
