Job Description
A food retailer with a range of stores across the UK offering fresh, frozen, and food-to-go options are looking to recruit a number of Store Managers for their growing store estate in the Nuneaton / Hinckley / Rugby areas. The business is going through a period of transformational change and an extensive store-opening and re-fit program. Store sizes range from local convenience stores with 10+ team members to small format supermarkets with 30+ people. Stores are open between 7am – 10pm and the shift pattern for a Store Manager is 39 hours per week which includes one weekend day, and at least one closing shift per week.
Their ideal candidate has retail management experience from a food retailer which could be a supermarket, convenience store, or forecourt store – because there’s a range of formats and sizes in their estate they can find the best fit for you so you might already be an experienced store manager or deputy, or alternatively you might be a department manager / shift manager from a larger supermarket looking to step up and run your own store.
In return, they’re offering a base salary that is dependent upon your experience as well as the store size, complexity, and location + health plan and private GP service + very generous pension contributions + double discount days + a very wide range of other benefits.
