What youll do
Your key accountabilities will include
You will be responsible for coordinating the successful set up of all new Convenience stores in the Foods forecast and ordering systems, ensuring that the stores launch with the right products and in appropriate volumes representing the best of M&S to our customers from the day of launch.
Be accountable for the store level forecast and allocation for your new stores, renewal stores and closures spanning the Channel Islands UK and Ireland.
Actively seek opportunities to improve store sales, availability, and waste to drive positive volume and sales growth. Root-cause and identify opportunities and risk to performance linked to range and space and liaise with our Commercial and SRD teams on next steps.
Support our Commercial teams in delivering brilliant Events and Phases with accurate stock placement and reacting to Partner/Retail feedback.
Utilise all tools and resources to provide accurate reporting, performance updates and data insight.
Who you are
Your skills and experience will include
Strong mathematical skills key preferable to have some forecasting/allocation experience on RELEX
Strong analytical skills able to interpret data and offer solutions to improve performance in store and competent in Excel.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Problem solving ability to resolve complex issues, take risks and react with pace.
Decision-making ability to make decisions quickly based on varying levels of information.
