Stock Planner / Goods In Team Leader

Stock & Systems Control, Supply Chain, H&S & relatedManchester – M44c£25k - £28k + Benefits + Full TrainingWe are excited to be working with an engineering products manufacturer & distributor in their search for an experienced Stock planner / Logistics coordinator.Role Summary:Provide accurate usage & raw material and packaging stock holding information to department managers.Arrange pick up and dispatchEnsure all packing and label specs are compliant especially on project workMaintain, control, monitor and report on finished goods stocks Maintain control, monitor packaging waste and skipsArrange pick up of waste for re-sellMaintain control monitor and report on area housekeeping.Maintain control monitor and report on specialist packing for projectsCheck material stock checks to ensure accurate figures are recordedControl cycle stock checks and deal with issues.Assist and prepare for Monthly/Quarterly stock checksCarry out internal auditing and report findings.Help Ensure safety of any supplier / contractor organised to come on site.Assist in processing orders and shipments according to the established schedule if required.Assist Production Managers in controlling production costs while maintaining the quality standards.Review job orders and accordingly establish priorities and schedules with planner.Coordinate with Production Manager to Plan and monitor material movement in production cycles to ensure continuous operations.Work with cross-functional teams to complete job orders on-time and within customer specifications.Experience gained in Goods in/stores logistics in a similar manufacturing environment.Motivation and Drive to succeed and able to work well as part of a team or on own initiative.Experience stock check processes and proceduresFully trained in Microsoft packages, word, excel, PPExperience with ERP system SAP would be preferable but other types would sufficeExperience of managing small teams of between 2-3 peopleThis is a fantastic opportunity - we look forward to your application.
