Today, still based in central Cheshire and dedicated to UK manufacturing, the company offers an unrivalled range of high quality, competitively priced products than any other comparative single sourced UK manufacturer.Their mission is to continue growing profitably with customers by producing and developing quality products that both excite and satisfy their consumers.In this role, you'll embody our client's core values:Exceeding customer expectationsPursuing innovative solutions for profitable successUpholding integrity for quality service and valueValuing our staff and engaging with the communityFostering openness, honesty, and empowermentDriving continuous improvement and accountabilityBalancing profitability for sustainable growthWhat will your role look like?Assisting with stock ordering and expediting (low value/volume) using the current Exact systemBegin improvements to the system to ensure all SKU parameters are added to the system to enable the running of MRPs with sufficient informationData entry to various systems and update requirements, pricing spreadsheets, purchase price files, stock control parameters etcTo produce packing specifications where necessaryInvolvement in New Component Sourcing/Information gatheringInvolvement in Current component/New supplier sourcingCollation of RFQ results for comparison.Chasing receipt of amended specification issuancesSet up/implement of filing system on server to enable easy collation of supplier documents, to contain Audit/Ethical/T's and C's/RoHS/PAH/REACH/Relevant compliance and approval documentationPlacing of purchase ordersPlacing manual purchase orders for sundry items as requiredRegularly review stocks where movement is slow and work on an action plan to reduce.Review monthly KPI stock level targetsAssist with archiving purchase orders and supplier informationLiaising with suppliers to ensure that current lead times for components are being monitored so that possible supply problemsScheduling delivery of all components from supplier to meet production requirements, liaising with sales to ascertain orders in hand and for forward forecastsKeeping stock levels to the required levels and liaising with suppliers to delay or call forward ordersProgressing orders to time and liaising with suppliers to ensure deliveries are on timeProducing regular stock reports to monitor minimum stocks, stock valuation, stock movement etcContinual liaison with the Product/Project Manager to ensure new developments are being monitored and availability and cost prices are being obtainedFiling and general office administrationWhat can you expect in return?30 days holiday including bank holidays5% matched pension contributionFree 4 times life cover if pension scheme joinedCar parkWhat's next?
