Stock Controller

As a Stock Controller, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate stock levels, optimising inventory processes, and ensuring efficient stock movements.Responsibilities:Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing stockConduct regular stock audits to identify discrepancies and resolve any issuesMonitor stock levels and collaborate with the procurement team to ensure optimal stock levels are maintainedCreate and implement effective inventory management strategies to minimise stock holding costsCoordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage and handling of productsPrepare regular reports on stock levels, turnover, and any potential risks or opportunitiesIdentify slow-moving or obsolete items and suggest actions for clearance or disposalCollaborate with other departments such as sales and finance to forecast demand and plan replenishmentsImplement systems or software to streamline stock control processesMaintain a clean and organised warehouse environmentRequirements:Prior experience in a similar role as a Stock Controller or Inventory Manager is preferredA keen eye for detail and strong analytical skills to identify patterns or discrepancies in dataExcellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectivelyStrong communication skills to collaborate with different teams within the organisationProficient in using inventory management software or systems (Shopify system is a plus)A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently as well as part of a teamAn understanding of supply chain management principles is desirable but not essentialHigh level of accuracy and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environmentA positive and enthusiastic approach to problem-solvingIf you are ready to take on this exciting challenge and contribute to the success of our company, apply now!
