Description

The role of Stock Controller in Shrewsbury will involve:

• Monitoring and processing stock movements.
• Conducting regular stock audits and report discrepancies
• Collaborating with the purchasing department to forecast supply needs
• Ensuring the accuracy of all stock records and data
• Liaising with and managing suppliers
• Ensuring order fulfilment
• Improving logistics processes to enhance efficiency
• Working closely with the sales and customer service teams to resolve stock-related issues

Profile

A successful Stock Controller should have:

• A solid understanding of stock and inventory control
• Excellent organisational and planning skills
• The ability to work well in a team.
• Proficiency in IT systems, preferably SAP
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• A proactive approach to problem-solving
• Previous experience working in Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain
