Overage, Shortage & Damage Stock Control Specialist



We are recruiting for an Overage, Shortage & Damage Stock Control Specialist to join our Tamworth based client.



You'll be joining a manufacturer and distributor of genuine automotive Parts and Accessories, the company being a key subsidiary of one of the top 6 global automotive companies.



Your role will be to manage and report on stock anomalies, focusing on Overage, Shortage & Damage to meet business KPI's and drive improvement. You'll identify warehouse anomalies by system analysis and work with the various teams to improve processes and resolve issues.



As an Overage, Shortage & Damage Stock Control Specialist, you will need to have/be:




  • Excellent communication, collaboration and influencing skills

  • Proactive with an eye for problem solving and continuous improvement

  • Excellent analytical and organisational skills

  • Takes a hands-on approach with self-starting ability and inquisitive nature

  • Truck skills are not essential but would be advantageous



Details:




  • Salary: Up to £29, 000 + £1,610 lunch allowance (in addition to basic salary)

  • Working Hours: Monday - Friday 5.00am - 1.30pm

  • Location: Tamworth

  • Duration: Permanent



Role of Overage, Shortage & Damage Stock Control Specialist:




  • To lead the stock adjustment investigation, providing supervision, support and guidance where necessary

  • Review operational processes to find causes of stock discrepancies

  • Analysing KPIs to identify opportunities to continually improve stock accuracy and reduce the need for adjustments

  • Cooperate with other teams and the team leader to eliminate root-cause of stock discrepancies

  • Coordinate activities and plan the days activities together with the managers

  • Effectively support the Operation, monitor status of pending and aged stock control, to deal with issues as they arise, implementing corrective measures and escalating appropriately

    • Inbound and outbound anomalies / problem resolution

    • Stock and orders in excessively delayed pending

    • Stock checks

    • Process investigation

    • Dispo process area analysis - preventative measures



  • Warehouse administration and systems control
