We're helping a collaborative manufacturing business find and hire a Stock Control & Purchasing Manager, the role comes with an attractive salary up to GBP50,000 per annum and a fantastic benefits package.The hiring manager is looking for someone who lives within an hour's commute of South East London, this role will involve both Stock Control & Purchasing responsibilities, with the role being more stock control orientated.We are looking for someone who has come from the Manufacturing, Engineering, Technical or Automotive Sector.As a Stock Control and Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for all company stock, goods in, customer dispatches, returned goods, and stock movements. You will also check and ensure the accuracy of sales orders prior to Warehouse Team fulfilment.In your first few weeks in this Stock Control & Purchasing Manager role, you can expect to: Establish and maintain a high-level of stock accuracy for the warehouse and mobile workforceBe responsible for all stock ordering, goods in, customer dispatches, returned goods and stock movementsComplete sales orders and approve for invoicing, cross-referring with in-house job management softwareAssist the Warehouse Manager with maintaining the stock-take process.
