Steel Erector / Rigger

Tradestech Recruitment require�Steel�Erectors and Riggers for a long term contract, on a major project, in Edinburgh.�

As a�Steel�Erector, you will be responsible for assembling and installing�steel�structures according to design specifications. We ideally want local applicants or people within reasonable commutable distance from Edinburgh.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble and erect�steel�frames, beams and structural components according to construction drawings and specifications.


• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures at all times.


• Perform welding, bolting, and other connection methods to secure�steel�members together.


• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organised manner.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a�Steel�Erector�with the correct Skilled CSCS card.


• Proficiency in reading construction drawings.


• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to�steel�erection.


• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.


• IPAF would be an advantage, but not essential.�
