Join us on this shared journey toward a brighter tomorrow.The holder of the position will be responsible to the EMEA Financial Controller, the role will cover three PHINIA sites in the UK (Stonehouse, Warwick and Gillingham) and will be required to travel during necessary periods between each site.Key responsibilitiesResponsible for consolidation of 3 business units forming one statutory entityResponsible for US GAAP to FRS102 adjustments, including purchase price adjustmentsPrepare the consolidated local UK GAAP ETB, master disclosures and statutory accountsSupport the external auditors to coordinate requests for the statutory audit of the legal entityPrepare the word file of the local accounts by making utilizing existing software solutions to create the modelsPrepare going concern memos and supporting workingsSupport the local teams in statutory reporting obligations Understand and document key adjustments from US GAAP to FRS102Support the local sites on SOX compliance ensuring consistency and adherence to group policiesCoordinate with internal tax team to maintain and manage tax reporting disclosuresWhat we’re looking forQualified BA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or QBEExperience of excel and offline consolidationsMust have understanding of GAAP differences and application of GAAP other than UKMust have experience of consolidations at group/across site levelMust have experience preparing accounts for +c$200M businessOrganized with the ability to work to tight deadlinesAnalytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skillsCurious and enquiring mindExcellent report-writing and communication skillsWhat we believeProduct Leadership - Innovation that brings value to our customersHumility - Seeking out diverse perspectives and working collaborativelyInclusivity - Recognizing our differences make us stronger; we are bold and intentionalNet-Zero - Committed to energy efficiency, waste reduction and beneficial reuseIntegrity - Taking responsibility for our
