We have open-plan offices in Oxford and London, with hybrid working. Our contractual working hours are 37.5 hours per week, with flexible start and finish times around our core company hours of 10 am to 4 pm.

The role
As a Statistician or Senior Statistician you will be in a client-facing role and work closely and collaboratively with the project managers, and value communication and health economics teams to deliver high-quality evidence-based solutions for our clients.
You will be required to support Health Technology Assessments (HTAs) through:
Evidence synthesis, including the design and running of indirect treatments comparisons such as network meta-analysis and matching-adjusted indirect treatment comparisons;
Patient level data analysis, including parametric survival modelling and more complex survival techniques;
Preparation of feasibility assessments and statistical analysis plans;
Preparation of datasets for analysis and undertaking analyses as detailed in the analysis plans;
Quality assurance review of statistical models developed both within the company and for clients;
Involvement in client meetings to provide updates on methods, progress and results of data analysis;
Report preparation and presentation to clients;
Client liaison within a project, with the support of a project lead;
At least a working knowledge of HTA processes, such as NICE and the SMC.
You will need:
A degree in medical statistics, statistics or similar, ideally a post-graduate degree;
Experience in using statistical software packages (for example, R, STATA, WinBugs);
Experienced in using Microsoft Excel;
Experience of working with patient level data or large individual level data sets;
Minimum 18 months proven experience for Statistician role or 4-5 years for Senior Statistician role of undertaking statistical analyses within a consultancy, academia, the NHS or a pharmaceuticals or devices company;
Ideally, some familiarity with analysing real word evidence and datasets used within the UK (HES, CPRD etc.).
