Static Security Officer

Kingdom Services Group are a key partner to The University of South Wales, and we have a great opportunity for an SIA Door Supervisor Licenced Security Guard to join our award-winning Security Team, dealing with many staff, students and visitors on a daily basis.
Where: Treforest, CF37 area
(Own transport and full UK Manual driving licence is essential for this role)
When: We’re looking to get the right person in to the team ASAP
Hours: On average 60+ hours per week. 3 Days 3 Nights 3 Off. 12 hour Day / Night / Weekend shifts as per site rota. 07:00 am - 19:00 pm / 19:00 pm - 07:00 am.
Pay Rate: £12.00 per hour
(Plus £250 Welcome bonus & £200 bonus if you have a CCTV licence, both payable after 3 months)

About the role:
Maintaining a safe and secure environment for staff and students by patrolling and monitoring the premises
Act as first point of contact for visitors to the site
Supervise and control site access including the opening and locking down of site buildings
Operating and monitoring the CCTV cameras
Act as the first point of contact for visitors to the site
Liaise with the client to fulfil security requirements on site
Completing reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities
Deal with confrontational situations in a calm, sensitive and professional manner
About you:
Excellent communication & customer service skills
Professional in approach, with a balanced sense of judgement, and a keen eye for detail
Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential
A valid SIA Door Supervisor licence (or applied for) AND own transport / Full UK Manual Driving Licence (essential as driving a company vehicle)
A full five-year checkable employment history
