Standards & Audit Manager - Primary Agriculture - 12 Month Parental Leave Cover About the roleYou will lead, deliver and manage the UK and ROI Agriculture and Produce Upstream Supply Chain Audit Programmes. Manage the safety, reputational and legal risk, protect the brand and build trust for customers.You will be responsible forGoverning, managing and delivering robust upstream supply chain audit programmes (Livestock, Aquaculture, Feed Mills and Fresh Produce)Setting, monitoring and reviewing requirements for upstream supply chain audits and audit providersLeading and participating in the development of all relevant Tesco due diligence requirements (standards, requirements etc) and guidance to support their implementation, by actively engaging with relevant stakeholdersLeading on and continually improving requirements for upstream supply chain due diligence management, including using external latest thinking and internal dataFacilitation, co-ordination, management of, and participation in relevant projects to continually drive improvement of internal and external standards, and complianceLeading on relationships with, and governance of, industry schemes, and influencing their future directionSupporting and advising on future upstream supply chain audit strategy developmentSupporting incident management activities as appropriateFollowing our Business Code of Conduct & always acting with integrity and due diligenceYou will needOperational Skills:Risk assessment and risk managementTechnical management in supply chainsHigh attention to detailCommunicationInfluencing and negotiationCommercial awarenessAnalytical skillsAbility to work under pressure to tight deadlines, maintaining standards, quality and relationshipsMobilisationGood working knowledge of MS Office and SharePointExperience:Degree level or equivalent qualification in related subjectExtensive experience in food industryManaging supplier/service provider relationshipsAnimal Welfare Auditing / ideally Lead AuditorRisk assessment and risk management#LI-DS1#LI-HybridWhat's in it for youWe're all about the little helps.
