Reporting to the Senior Tax Manager, Head of UK Tax, the Senior Tax Analyst will help to ensure Realty Income’s UK tax compliance. They will support the UK tax managers in tax structuring, tax planning and tax audit activities and liaise with leaders across our UK, EU and US offices, and our external advisors, to help ensure the tax efficient growth of the UK business. What you will be working on:Tax Compliance Liaise with the wider finance teams, our external advisers and UK tax managers to ensure that full and accurate source data is used in the preparation of direct and indirect UK tax returns.Prepare and make delivery of accurate direct tax returns for manager review, making post review amendments where required, and submit these to the relevant tax authorities. Help to ensure that the requirements of internal tax review processes and tax audits are met. Assist to develop and test tax automatization projects and other tax process efficiencies. Tax StructuringGather the required data and information as regards tax due diligence transaction related and post-transactional new entity onboarding processes to meet compliance needs. Support tax management in their development of tax structuring or planning projects. Gather the collection of transfer pricing data and analysis to ensure adequate documentation.Other tasksAbility to self-organize and multi-task flexibly in managing multiple work streams.Pro-active approach to the collection and organization of required and requested tax data. Help to develop and manage an effective and full tax documentation management system. Arrange and ensure the timely processing and payment of UK tax related payments. Proactively expand tax knowledge into new areas where necessary to support business needs.Develop and maintain a knowledge of changing relevant tax laws and regulations to identify, implement and apply any changes that are required in relation to the company’s business. What we need from you:Degree in Accounting, Law, Taxation or related field (or professional equivalent i.e. ACA or CTA).5+ years relevant work experience in UK tax compliance.
