Sr. Program Manager, Fleet Electrification, WW Ops SustainabilityJob ID: 2647487 | Amazon UK Services Ltd. - A10Amazon is looking for a Sr. Program Manager to lead our fleet electrification strategy in emerging countries (MENA/APAC/LATAM).You will develop and implement a plan to accelerate the electrification of our transportation fleet in partnership with emerging countries teams. We are looking for someone excited by sustainability and eager to drive innovative and think big opportunities that bring Amazon closer to achieving its Climate Pledge.The ideal candidate has extensive experience working with zero-carbon technologies, a proven track record of leading successful sustainability projects, knowledge of the transportation and/or logistics industry, and familiarity with the policy landscape related to MENA, APAC and LATAM countries regarding zero-carbon technologies.Additionally, this candidate has the ability to think strategically, navigate complex and ambiguous challenges, manage multiple large-scale projects across different technologies and stakeholder groups, and collaborate and influence effectively. Experience with automotive suppliers is also an advantage.Key job responsibilities• Develop an ecosystem to accelerate sustainable transportation adoption in MENA/APAC/LATAM, working with external partners and internal teams to drive a long-term vision• Guide and advise business units on how to reduce emissions, plan their budgets, and secure resources for decarbonizing transport.• Develop and implement large-scale investments in zero-carbon transport, tackling the toughest emissions challenges in Amazon's operations• Engage in public-private partnerships and industry coalitions to unlock innovative solutions. Partner with Public Policy teams to identify key policy opportunities to accelerate zero-carbon technology adoption• Build your expertise in zero-carbon technology as the go-to person for Amazon Operations in LATAM/MENA/APAC, sharing your knowledge and mentoring othersAbout the teamWorldwide Operations Sustainability (WWOS) sets the vision and strategy for sustainability within Amazon ops, including the overarching strategy and interim targets to achieve the Climate Pledge by 2040, and topics that extend beyond decarbonization.WWOS centrally coordinates strategy across Operations in all regions, particularly on topics that transcend business unit boundaries. The mission of WWOS is to accelerate outcomes for key decisions, identify the right stakeholders to make decisions, and provide central guidance for resource allocation to drive our path for the Climate Pledge.We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:London, GBRBASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership- Experience in program or project management- Experience in electrification and/or zero-carbon technologies for automotive/transportPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Master's degree, or MBA in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative fieldAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
