As an expert in your field, your insights influence budget and technical considerations to advance operational efficiencies and functionalities.Job responsibilitiesProvide overall direction, oversight, and coaching for a team of entry-level to mid-level software engineers that work on basic to moderately complex tasksBe accountable for decisions that influence teams’ resources, budget, tactical operations, and the execution and implementation of processes and procedures'.Ensures successful collaboration across teams and stakeholdersIdentifies and mitigates issues to execute a book of work while escalating issues as necessaryProvides input to leadership regarding budget, approach, and technical considerations to improve operational efficiencies and functionality for the teamCreates a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect for team members and prioritizes diverse representationResponsible for engaging with regional senior business stakeholders from Front office , Middle office & Business Management.Responsible for major migration from a legacy Java based platform to strategic Python based PlatformRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skillsFormal training or certification on Project Delivery concepts and advanced applied experience. In addition, proven experience leading technologists to manage and solve complex technical items within your domain of expertise.Experience leading teams of technologistsAbility to guide and coach teams on approach to achieve goals aligned against a set of strategic initiativesExperience with hiring, developing, and recognizing talentIn-depth knowledge of the services industry and their IT systemsExperience in driving Python based Projects and initiatives.Experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and expertise in technology disciplinesPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skillsFinancial Industry and investment banking product knowledgeJ.P.
